Definition :
Filariasis is a parasitic disease caused by roundworms of the culex mosquitoes. They are grown by blood-feeding black flies & mosquitoes.
Causes :
- Culex mosquitoes
- Fever
- Inguinal
- Testicular pain,
- Skin exfoliation
- Limb or genital swelling
- Repeated episodes of inflammation
- lymph edema lead to lymphatic damage
- Elephantiasis of the legs, arms, scrotum, vulva, and breasts.
